45-day Standard Delivery Cycle Realized for Customized Carton Forming Machine Orders for European Customers
SHANGHAI, China, May 28, 2026 — Zray has achieved a 45-day standard delivery cycle for customized carton forming machine orders destined for European customers, compressing the previous 60 to 75-day lead time through a combination of production workflow optimization, pre-staged component inventory, and prioritized production scheduling for EU-bound orders. The accelerated delivery timeline has been validated across 12 European orders completed during the first half of 2026, with actual delivery performance averaging 43.5 days from order confirmation to factory dispatch.
The delivery cycle compression was achieved through three coordinated initiatives within Zray’s Shanghai manufacturing operation. First, the company implemented a modular assembly workflow that separates standard platform fabrication from customer-specific configuration tasks, allowing both workstreams to proceed in parallel rather than sequentially. Second, Zray established a strategic pre-staged inventory of long-lead-time components — including Siemens PLC modules, Beckhoff servo drives, and Nordson hot-melt systems — maintaining 30-day supply buffers for the component variants most commonly specified by European customers. Third, EU-bound orders were assigned dedicated production slots with committed resource allocation, eliminating the scheduling variability that previously resulted from competing production demands.
The 45-day cycle applies to all standard customization variants within Zray’s product range, including carton size configuration adjustments, control system language and documentation localization, voltage and frequency adaptations for European power standards, and integration interfaces for downstream European-manufactured packaging equipment. Orders requiring non-standard customization beyond these defined parameters are quoted with extended delivery timelines based on the specific customization scope.

Delivery cycle measurement begins at order confirmation — defined as receipt of signed purchase order and deposit payment — and concludes at factory dispatch readiness, at which point the shipment enters the logistics phase managed by Zray’s European land and rail freight partners. The 45-day commitment is documented as a contractual delivery obligation with defined penalty provisions for delays attributable to Zray’s production operations.
“Delivery certainty is, in many cases, more important to our European customers than raw delivery speed,” said Mr. Chen Hao, Zray’s European Market Manager. “A predictable 45-day cycle that customers can build into their project plans with confidence is more valuable than a nominal 30-day promise that fails half the time. We have structured our production planning around this principle of reliable predictability, and the first-half performance data — 12 orders delivered, 43.5-day average, zero contractual delay penalties — validates that the system is working as designed.”
Zray is now working toward a 35-day target for standard-configuration orders through further optimization of the pre-staged inventory program and the introduction of a second final assembly shift. The company will provide updated delivery cycle metrics to European customers and distribution partners on a quarterly basis.
