BUCHAREST, Romania, May 18, 2026 — Zray’s live demonstration of its ZCF-DH double-head high-speed carton forming machine drew substantial attention from CIS-region buyers at the Bucharest International Packaging Exhibition, generating 53 qualified sales inquiries and 11 letters of intent for follow-up commercial negotiations. The exhibition, held at Romexpo Exhibition Center, marked Zray’s debut participation in the Romanian market and its strategic expansion into Southeast European trade platforms serving CIS procurement delegations.

The on-site demonstration featured a ZCF-DH machine configured for beverage multipack cartons, running continuously at 24 cartons per minute with real-time quality data displayed on a large-format screen adjacent to the machine. The demonstration protocol included scheduled format changeovers performed by Zray’s technical team, showcasing the machine’s motorized size adjustment system that reduces changeover time from one carton format to another to under 3 minutes without mechanical tool changes.

Visitor traffic at the Zray booth exceeded expectations across all four exhibition days, with peak attendance during the second and third days coinciding with scheduled CIS buyer delegation visits. The company’s technical sales team conducted demonstrations in Russian, English, and Romanian, supported by translated technical datasheets and application case studies covering installations in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Ukraine.

A notable outcome of the exhibition was the strong interest from buyers representing the Moldovan and Azerbaijani markets, two territories where Zray had not previously established direct sales channels. Six of the 11 letters of intent received originated from these two markets, covering potential orders for both single-piece and double-head forming machines for food and beverage packaging applications.
