TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 22, 2026 — Zray concluded its participation in the Central Asia Packaging Expo 2026 in Tashkent with 18 confirmed letters of intent for carton forming machine procurement, representing a combined potential order value exceeding USD 1.2 million across buyers from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. The three-day exhibition, held at Uzexpocentre, is the region’s largest packaging industry trade event and attracted over 8,000 registered trade visitors.

Zray’s 54-square-meter booth featured a static display of a ZCF-S single-piece carton forming machine alongside detailed technical panels showcasing the complete product range. While operational demonstrations were not conducted at this exhibition due to venue utility constraints, the company compensated with an interactive 3D visualization station that allowed visitors to explore machine configurations, observe simulated forming cycles, and review production data from existing installations in Central Asian markets.

The 18 intention orders span a diverse range of machine types: 7 inquiries for single-piece forming machines primarily from logistics and e-commerce fulfillment operators, 5 for three-piece formers from food processing and packing companies, 4 for double-head high-speed units from beverage manufacturers, and 2 for integrated forming-and-lid-closing lines from cosmetic and personal care product manufacturers. The geographic distribution was led by Uzbekistan with 8 inquiries, followed by Kazakhstan with 5, Kyrgyzstan with 3, and one each from Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

A key factor contributing to the strong commercial outcome was Zray’s established presence in the Central Asian market, including existing installations at three customer sites in Uzbekistan and two in Kazakhstan that potential buyers could reference. Zray’s Tashkent-based sales representative facilitated introductions to several buyers and provided local-language support throughout the exhibition.

Zray has committed to exhibiting at the 2027 edition of the Central Asia Packaging Expo with a larger booth and operational machine demonstrations. The company is also evaluating the establishment of a formal representative office in Tashkent to support its growing customer base in the region.
