SHANGHAI, China, July 5, 2026 — Zray has secured a landmark order from a Fortune Global 500 daily chemical corporation for the supply of 12 carton forming machines as part of a comprehensive automatic packaging line reconstruction project at the customer’s largest Asian production facility. The order, Zray’s largest single-customer contract to date with a value exceeding USD 400,000, encompasses a mix of six ZCF-DH double-head high-speed formers and six ZCF-S single-piece forming machines, supported by a multi-year technical service agreement.

The procurement follows a rigorous 14-month evaluation process during which the customer’s global packaging engineering team assessed carton forming solutions from eight international machinery suppliers. The evaluation criteria weighted operational reliability at 30%, forming quality consistency at 25%, total cost of ownership over a 7-year lifecycle at 20%, supplier technical support capability at 15%, and delivery schedule reliability at 10%. Zray’s solution ranked first in the weighted evaluation, with the strongest scores in total cost of ownership and technical support capability.

The packaging line reconstruction project will replace an aging fleet of 18 carton forming machines from three different manufacturers, consolidating to 12 Zray machines organized into six production cells. Each cell pairs one ZCF-DH double-head unit for high-volume carton formats with one ZCF-S single-piece unit for lower-volume specialty carton sizes, providing the production flexibility required across the facility’s portfolio of over 200 SKUs spanning laundry detergents, fabric softeners, household cleaners, and personal care products.

The contract includes comprehensive technical requirements specified by the customer’s global engineering standards. These include full integration with the plant’s existing Rockwell Automation control architecture via EtherNet/IP communication, compatibility with the customer’s proprietary MES platform for production data collection, food-grade stainless steel construction for all product-contact surfaces per the customer’s hygiene standards, and compliance with the customer’s global machine safety standard which exceeds the requirements of ISO 13849-1.
