SHANGHAI, China, June 15, 2026 — Zray has launched an exclusive land logistics channel for CIS-bound shipments of carton forming machinery, reducing equipment transit times from Shanghai to key CIS destinations by up to 40% compared to traditional sea freight routes. The dedicated logistics corridor, established in partnership with a major China-Europe rail freight operator, provides scheduled weekly departures with end-to-end transit times of 18 to 22 days to Moscow, 20 to 24 days to Minsk, and 22 to 26 days to Almaty, compared to previous sea-plus-road transit durations of 35 to 45 days.

The land logistics channel utilizes the established China-Europe Railway Express network, with shipments departing from Shanghai via truck feeder to the Xi’an rail consolidation hub, where cargo is loaded onto block trains for the 9,000-kilometer journey to key CIS rail terminals. From these terminals, last-mile delivery is managed by Zray’s contracted logistics partners in each destination country, providing door-to-door service from Zray’s Shanghai factory to the customer’s facility with a single integrated logistics chain and unified documentation package.

For Zray’s customers, the most significant benefit extends beyond reduced transit time to include dramatically simplified customs clearance. The rail freight channel operates under the Customs Transit harmonized documentation framework, with a single customs declaration covering the entire journey from China to the final CIS destination. This eliminates the complex multi-stage clearance process that characterized the previous sea freight route, which typically involved customs procedures at both the port of entry and the land border crossing into inland CIS countries.

The logistics service includes comprehensive cargo insurance covering the full door-to-door journey, real-time GPS tracking with customer-accessible status updates, and specialized crating and container loading protocols designed for the vibration and temperature conditions encountered during the trans-Eurasian rail journey. Zray has documented these protocols in a logistics specification that has been reviewed and approved by the rail operator’s engineering team.
