Twelve-unit Delivery Marks Zray’s Largest Single-order Deployment to Date, Strengthening Position in the Packaging Integration Segment

Zray Machinery has completed delivery and commissioning of a twelve-unit order of carton forming machines to a middle-market packaging integrator, marking the company’s largest single-order deployment since entering the international market. The order, which spans three different forming machine models configured for varying carton formats and throughput requirements, was fulfilled over a six-month manufacturing and logistics cycle with all units arriving on-site within the agreed delivery window.

The packaging integrator, which serves a diverse customer base of e-commerce fulfillment centers, food processing companies, and consumer goods manufacturers across Southeast Asia, selected Zray following a competitive tender process that evaluated machine performance specifications, total cost of ownership, and after-sales support capability. The integrator’s procurement team cited Zray’s demonstrated ability to deliver equipment at scale while maintaining consistent build quality across multiple units as a decisive factor in the award decision.

A packaging integrator’s reputation with its own end-customers depends on the reliability of every machine it deploys,” said the Zray project manager overseeing the order. “Standardized production procedures, a dedicated quality inspection protocol for multi-unit orders, and close coordination with the customer’s project team were essential to the successful outcome.”

The order included four high-speed automatic formers for large-format cartons, six medium-capacity machines for standard e-commerce packaging formats, and two compact units designated for smaller specialty carton applications. Each machine underwent individual factory acceptance testing at Zray’s manufacturing facility before shipment, with test reports and inspection records compiled into a comprehensive documentation package delivered alongside the equipment.

Logistics and Site Coordination

Managing the logistics of a twelve-machine shipment presented significant coordination challenges. Zray’s logistics team worked with the customer’s appointed freight forwarder to schedule container loading across three staggered shipment dates, ensuring that the site installation team could commission machines in batches without creating workflow congestion at the receiving facility. Each container was loaded with a complete set of accessories, spare parts kits, and technical documentation corresponding to the machines inside.

On-site commissioning was carried out by a team of four Zray service engineers over a three-week period, working alongside the integrator’s in-house technical staff. The phased approach allowed the integrator to bring the first batch of machines into production while the later shipments were still in transit. Training sessions for machine operators and maintenance personnel were conducted concurrently with commissioning, covering daily operation, routine maintenance, common fault diagnosis, and safety procedures. The integrator has since placed a follow-up order for consumable spare parts and has initiated discussions regarding a long-term service agreement.
