ZRAY has released a dedicated kraft paper burger box erecting machine for quick-service restaurants and food packaging converters. The machine forms, seals, and ejects pre-glued burger cartons at up to 40 CPM, with a fixed compression section that keeps the bottom square while the seal sets.

Machine Specifications

The machine uses E-flute single-wall kraft, the standard construction for fast-food cartons: light enough to keep freight costs low, stiff enough to survive stack heights in delivery bags and short cold-transport legs.

What Makes It Different from a General-Purpose Erector

A standard carton erector handles RSC boxes from 200 mm upward. Food-service blanks are smaller, thinner, and pre-glued with a side seam, so they flex under vacuum pick-up. ZRAY adapted three details:

1. Small-format suction cups sized for mini blanks, with a separate vacuum zone so short blanks pick up flat without curling.
2. Two-stage bottom forming that squares the box on a mandrel before sealing, which eliminates skewed bottoms on high-speed runs.
3. Fixed-length compression section calibrated for E-flute blanks, so boxes discharge already square — no separate taping station needed.

These are the same engineering principles ZRAY uses on its full-size line, including the Single-Piece Case Erector, scaled down for the food-service format.

Because the glue lines run at 150–170 °C and the blanks are food-grade kraft, no secondary sealing material touches the food contact area.

The machine ships with a 45-day custom delivery lead time, CE and EAC certification, and a 12-month warranty. Before shipping, every unit runs a FAT with your actual carton blanks — you can join via remote video witnessing. Core electrical and pneumatic components are Siemens, Schneider, and SMC.
