Why Dual-Head Instead of a Second Machine

Two single-head erectors side by side double the output, but they also double the footprint, the controls, the maintenance points, and the operator touchpoints. The ZRAY dual-head machine keeps one magazine, one Siemens PLC, one HMI, and one glue station, while the two heads cycle independently:

• Independent head timing lets each head pause for a downstream hiccup without stopping the other.
• Shared magazine with twin vacuum pick separates blanks reliably at higher demand rates.
• Single recipe system — a size change on the HMI moves both heads simultaneously, under 5 minutes for standard single-wall sizes.
• Low carton jamming rate and CE/EAC certification apply to the whole platform, not just the single-head build.

Single-wall B and C flute boards from 200 gsm to 500 gsm feed through the shared magazine unchanged.
